Here is a sample of the MIDI output (I pressed a key at the end):
TIMESTAMP IN PORT STATUS DATA1 DATA2 CHAN NOTE EVENT
02DFACBB 9 — E0 2C 54 1 — Pitch Bend
02DFACFA 9 — E0 58 53 1 — Pitch Bend
02DFAD57 9 — E0 2C 54 1 — Pitch Bend
02DFAD95 9 — E0 00 55 1 — Pitch Bend
02DFADB5 9 — E0 2C 54 1 — Pitch Bend
did your problem get fixed somehow?
my cme uf5 does the same. but even with the pitch-pot disconnected from the pcb i get E0 XX XX outputs. even when i move fader #8 there are several blocks of E0…data inside.
i had a similar problem with another controller caused by a damaged fader. these systems don’t seem to like open inputs on their boards.
is it possible to get a copy of a service-manual for the cme uf5/6/8?
is a firmware-file available for download?
i like my uf5, it’s been reliable and flexible, it’s still being run via midi (who needs usb?)
best regards
