    Hello

I am trying to connect the xKey to my Android tablet via a micro-USB cable (male-male micro USB), but the red and blue lights are flashing and nothing happens when I press a key on the xKey. I am using the recommended Walk Band app on the Android tablet.

Is it possible to connect it via USB cable to a Android tablet?

Yes, you can connect Xkey via USB cable to a Android tablet, but you need USB OTG cable. Please check your tablet manual to get more information.

Can you direct me to a page where I can buy such a cable? I have bought one on eBay, but with no luck in setting it up.

Currently I am trying to set up the xKey 37 Air via the Widi bud. The xKey Grand Piano app on my PC says “XKEY NOT CONNECTED” even though the PC app Widi Bud says “1 MIDI Device(s) nearby connected (not scanning)” and when I close that and open xKey Plus it says “Connection mode: Wireless bluetooth (Widibud) Activation status: Yes”, but I cannot get the xKey Air to connect to my xKey Grand Piano app. Why?

It only says “XKEY NOT CONNECTED” and all the time the blue light on the xKey is on, and the red light is flashing.

HI the OTG cable has a lot of models, you need to check with your mobile manufacturer to see which one is compatible.
The Xkey Piano only detected Xkey USB cable automatically. If you use WIDI BUD, please go to 3 lines icon on the top left and select WIDI BUD as MIDI Input. Please check screen shot for reference.

Wonderful, Zhao. It works! Now the only question is why the red light on the xKey 37 keeps flashing even though everything works perfectly fine?

Good to know it worked well. Yes, the red led will be flashing because it is for showing USB connection status, if you did not connect with computer via USB, it will be flashing slowly. This is correct.
