Hello! Looking for some refreshers on dog training for my 1 year old Aussie, Bailey. We did puppy kindergarten classes when we first got her but haven’t kept up with regular training. She’s started jumping on guests and pulling on walks in our Austin neighborhood. I’d love to find a dog training company in Austin that offers “reactivating” sessions to reinforce early training. Bailey is very energetic so we need to get her mind re-engaged with learning. Let me know if you have any recommendations for us!

Hey there! Totally get where you’re coming from. I had a similar situation with my border collie, Ziggy. Like Bailey, he’s a bundle of energy and started getting a bit unruly. We tried various things, but what really turned the corner for us was enrolling in some refresher training sessions. I stumbled upon dog obedience training Austin , and they’ve been fantastic. They specialize in exactly what you’re looking for – reigniting that spark for learning in dogs who’ve had early training but need a little nudge back on track. The trainers were super knowledgeable and tailored the sessions to Ziggy’s specific needs. It’s been a game-changer for us. Ziggy’s much calmer with guests now and our walks are way more enjoyable. Might be worth checking out for Bailey!
