Hi:
New here and to piano! Is there a way to move an octave of a group of specific keys? I want the first 12 keys to be one octave lower than they are, but the rest of the keyboard to be at its ‘default’ (higher) octave. I see in the software you can do it to one key at a time (but even when I try that it applies to all the keys and I cannot figure that out either).
My problem…I need to play the bass part in a lower octave that is available on the 37 keys while playing the higher notes in the higher octave. Thanks for a newbie question—-be gentle!
Doug
Dear Doug,
You can use Xkey Plus software to select each key and give them different MIDI note number, then save it in the Xkey.
