I’m not sure how CME can get away with saying the WIDI Bud works on Windows 10, ive just tried it and its no better than trying to use native bluetooth.
This is very annoying, i tried plain ole bluetooth and that hasn’t worked.
So i purchased the WIDI Bud, and the results are the same. It still doesn’t pair, and the WIDI Pro software doesn’t find the device either. The only difference is the blue light stays on, and the WIDI bud L.E.D flashes when i play, but my OS isn’t picking up anything
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393
Hi Jayflux,
Which MIDI device you are using to pair with WIDI BUD? Did you try to update the WIDI BUD firmware by using our WIDI PLUS free software? Please also download MIDIOX (http://www.midiox.com/) and selet WIDI BUD as its MIDI input, then check whether you can receive the MIDI message from the paired MIDI device.
Please send email to [email protected], we will reply to you in time.
Thanks.
I’m using the XKey Air 37
Zhao, looks like i had v1.0 of Widi Bud. Now I’ve updated to v1.1 i can see its connected.
However, i still get nothing coming through on my DAW, and the XKey Plus 2.5 application picks up nothing either.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Jason
OK now my Xkey Plus v2.5 is picking up the controller.
Still nothing from my DAW tough
Answered you via email.
Ok its working now, i didn’t realise it wasn’t multi client on Windows 10. (so you can’t have anything else using it at the same time)
I must have had the WIDI Bud program open at the same time.
With nothing open but my DAW it works.
Great! Thanks.
