Tagged: aftertouch
I remember reading somewhere on your site that your Xkey Piano app (which I’m using on my Mac) supports aftertouch. But I’m not seeing which instruments support it, or how I can activate aftertouch sensitivity in the software or hardware.
For that matter, I was bummed to discover that Garageband also doesn’t make any use of aftertouch with its wind and brass and other instruments.
Or am I missing something obvious here? A big BIG reason why I got the Xkey Air over other MIDI controllers was to enjoy the benefits of aftertouch, particularly for use with woodwinds, brass, and string instruments.
Thanks!
There is a switch to open the polyaftertouch feature in Xkey Piano, it is on top of the screen and looks like a wave image. In Garageband some of synth sound support polyaftertouch feature. If you want to play more sounds with polyaftertouch, please try other professional softsynth plug-in.
