I have a new xkey37 air. I have gone through the process of connecting with my macbook air. It shows up as connected on bluetooth but I get no sound when I try playing it. Please advise as to what my problem could be. Frustrating!
Dear User,
1. Please make sure that you pair the Xkey Air 37 with your Macbook Air by following this instruction:
2. The Xkey Air is a MIDI controller keyboard, it has no sound inside. You need to play it with a music software which will generate the sound from the computer. If you do not use any music software, please try to download our Xkey Piano for test.
i have followed the instructions and am connected. Does the Xkey plus app not work for sound?
The Xkey Plus is only for configuration and assignment, not for sound.
Thank you. I now have sound but only when connected with USB which kind of defeats the purpose of having the Air version. Any thoughts on why I don’t get sound with bluetooth?
Please try to test with other music software such as GarageBand from Apple with Bluetooth connection.
